“Agh…kid, you really shouldn’t be here. The circus isn’t open to the public yet,” said the grunt that Seiya bumped into.

Meanwhile, Loyal was seeing that practice was going fairly well, with little to no incident. Sighing a bit, the ringmaster left the tent. As he was about to head back towards his trailer, he spotted the young man again, this time talking with one of the grunts. Quirking an eyebrow, he began to walk over.

“Aren’t you a little busy at the moment? We’re still setting up, and we can’t afford to slack off, yes?” asked the blonde man, crossing his arms as he approached them.

The grunt turned to see the ringmaster, his eyes widening. “Ah, right! Sorry, monsieur. Getting right on it.” With that the grunt quickly left to go about working.

After watching the grunt go on his way, Loyal turned his attention to Seiya. “I see you’ve bought a ticket. Has the circus caught your interest then, young monsieur?” he asked.

“But the guy let me in though,” Seiya frowned, confused. Maybe he was only supposed to stick near the booths?

He was half relieved half nervous, like a child who’d done something wrong.

“Uh…thank you sir?” he asked, a sweat drop forming on his forehead as he looked up at the towering man with the white painted face. “Yeah! I was free and I though I’d go you know? never been to a circus before :)”.

Loyal smiled a bit. “Is that right? Though I’m afraid to inform you that the circus grounds aren’t quite ready yet. The ticket booth is only selling them early because people tend to want to avoid the lines that form closer to showtime.”

He thought for a bit, looking towards the city. “But, perhaps, while we’re waiting, you could show me around. We’re new to this area and I’d like to get acquainted with my potential audience,” he grinned.

Seiya knew they probably weren’t all the way open yet, but dammit, this was his vacation and he’s going to make the most of it.

Happy with his ticket, Seiya began to explore the colorful booth darting left and right, trying to look at everything. He suddenly bumped into someone.

“Oops, sorry mister!”

A Trip to Athens

It was a clear morning when the Cirque du Gothique arrived in a completely new city. The ringmaster was more than happy to see that there seemed to be a good amount of people, which meant a fairly large audience for his show. As soon as the trailers and trucks stopped just on the outskirts of the city, they quickly began to work in setting up.

As for Monsieur Loyal himself, he decided to walk around and make sure that everyone was doing their part. While the grunts were working on setting up the food stands and games, a few of the performers were helping to set up the main tent, where the show would take place. The ringmaster quickly walked over to one of the open trucks before looking back at one of the grunts. “The tent is just about up, so let’s get everything inside as soon as possible, yes?” he asked them. “Yes, monsieur!” replied the grunt before heading inside the truck.

Loyal put on a grin as walked over to the edge of the circus grounds to take a good look at the city. Yes, it would certainly be an interesting day…

With the Holy Wars over, Seiya wasn’t quite sure what to do really. The moment they’d been given a break from reconstruction, Hyouga had high-tailed to Siberia, and Shiryu was similarly in China. Shun went to visit Ikki and who KNOWS where Ikki is.

Which left Seiya…alone…-_-”’

The Pegasus figured he had enough pocket money saved up to go fot ice cream down in Athens so with a small salute to the Sanctuary Guards he left. Seiya entered the city just as colorful tents went up, chasing all thoughts of ice cream from his mind. He’d never been to a circus before.

Interested, Seiya bought himself a ticket

Despite the ticket booth being open to allow anyone interested to buy a ticket early, the circus itself was not yet ready to be open to the public. A few of the stands were set up, and the last bit of preparations inside the tent. The show itself  would not commence until later in the day.

As the ringmaster was heading over to the main tent, he caught sight of a young man buying himself a ticket at the booth. He couldn’t help but grin to himself as he began to walk into the tent. The circus had only barely arrived, and already they were drawing in people who wish to see his show.

All about the circus grounds, the grunts worked left and right to set up games, make a fresh batch of cotton candy, and ensure that the smaller ‘side-show’ tents were also ready to go.
